I have a passion for helping people who, for whatever reason, are unable to confidently or effectively represent themselves when it comes to their finances, contracts, utilities and other life admin tasks. I can assist in those situations you cannot handle, whether from time restraints, perhaps from anxiety through Neurodivergence or possibly from lack of trust in yourself or the company you are dealing with.
In most cases I expect to save you more money than my fee, in addition to saving you time and stress. I will also ensure you get the right outcome for your dispute, purchase or contract renewal and I will confirm all this in my final report to you.

Contract Review and Renewals
Many utility and media companies rely on customers failing to renew their contracts on time. This leads to higher costs, lower levels of service and missing out on the best deals on the latest devices or services.
I can review your current monthly household outgoings, such as utility bills, TV, internet, mobile phone and insurance contracts and any other regular bills you have. Based on your needs, I can assess if they meet your requirements and also offer value for money. Not all decisions are based on the lowest price. Sometimes a better level of service is needed, and I can help you with this too.
Once any service adjustments or cost savings are identified, I can contact the providers on your behalf and negotiate the new contract to meet your requirements.

Insurance claims can be a bewildering experience. They are stressful, time consuming and many customers feel unfairly treated regarding claim settlements.
Terms like 'under-insured' and 'policy limits' are scary and difficult to respond to.
With over 15 years' experience working in insurance claims adjustment, investigation and complaints, I can support you through what can be a very stressful and time consuming process. This can include dealing directly with the insurance company on your behalf.
Whether it be a car, property, appliance or other insurance claim or dispute, I can ensure you are treated fairly and receive your appropriate outcome.

Customer Service Disputes
Dealing with call centres, whether in Ireland or overseas, can be frustrating, time consuming, repetitive and in some cases feels fruitless. I can handle this for you.
I know the internal processes these companies follow. I know your consumer rights and will ensure your case is resolved fairly, with less stress for you and in a timely manner.
In some cases, the result may not be what you hoped for, but I will ensure you receive what you are entitled to. I will explain it to you simply and concisely so you understand how the final decision was reached.
If your case requires the involvement of an Ombudsman or regulator, I can handle this for you as well.

Major Purchases
There is a lot to consider when making a big purchase, as there are often bewildering amounts of choices and huge price and features differences.
Even figuring out your needs, catering to a wish list and allowing a level of spoiling yourself sometimes can seem impossible.
I can work with you to first figure out what you need from a car, holiday, appliance, home improvement or any other major purchase. We can then discuss what extras you might wish for, what your budget is and the level of urgency around the deal.
I will then research the options, shortlist the top 5 or so to suit your requirements, and help you decide which option is best for you. I can then contact the chosen company, negotiate the deal and make the necessary arrangements from there.

My Fee Structure
I believe in being open and fair, and am happy to discuss my fees at any point. My charges are always made clear before any work starts.
My fees are billed at €50 per hour, in half hour increments, with a minimum 2 hour charge per case. I am happy to provide an estimate for each case, in advance, to include best and worst case scenarios.
If a visit to your home or other site is needed, my travel time will be billed at the same hourly rate.
If you have a strict budget, I am happy to work with you to prioritise and schedule my support as funds allow.
Any additional time is billed at €25 per half hour after the first 2 hours, payable on completion. A refund is only provided if no work has started before cancellation.
